Lauren Krasilovsky

President

Lauren is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences from Los Angeles, pursuing a major in Communication and a minor in Consumer Psychology. Lauren joined the organization her second semester of freshman year and has served as the society’s Communications Chair and Vice President prior to her role as President. Her favorite part about Kite & Key is interacting with prospective students and sharing her love of Penn with them as she helps them envision life as a Quaker. When not giving tours, Lauren can be found tutoring students through the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project, serving on marketing and programming committees at Hillel, consulting through TAMID, and playing on the club tennis team. In her spare time, she loves to take walks to Rittenhouse Square, explore new restaurants with her sorority sisters, and drink iced matchas while studying with friends in coffee shops.

McKenzie Davis

Vice President

McKenzie is a senior from Bethesda, MD majoring in Bioengineering. McKenzie joined Kite and Key in the fall of her sophomore year and served as Equity and Access Chair prior to her role as Vice President. She is so excited to continue serving on the executive board this year! Her favorite part of Kite and Key is meeting prospective families from all around the world and sharing endless possibilities that Penn has to offer. Outside of Kite & Key, McKenzie serves as an ambassador for the Underrepresented Student Advisory Board in Engineering (USABE), a project chair for the Student Committee on Undergraduate Education (SCUE), a senior advisor to the Biomedical Engineering Society, and is an involved member of Alpha Omega Epsilon. McKenzie also conducts rehabilitation robotics research on campus, tutors, and enjoys working out and visiting new cafés, taking walks along the Schuykill, and cooking and baking with friends.

Kaitlin Mrksich

Visit coordinator for daily programs

Kaitlin is a senior from Hinsdale, IL majoring in Bioengineering on a pre-med track. She has been a member of Kite & Key since the fall of her sophomore year and previously served as a Live Student Chat Shift Captain and Visit Coordinator for Special Programs. Her favorite part of Kite & Key is helping prospective students envision a future for themselves at Penn, and she is so excited to continue serving on the executive board as Visit Coordinator for Daily Programs. Outside of Kite & Key, Kaitlin serves as President of the Panhellenic Council and a senior advisor to the Biomedical Engineering Society, volunteers at the VA, tutors for the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project, spends time with her sorority sisters, and conducts drug delivery research on campus. In her free time, you’ll find Kaitlin going to workout classes, exploring new coffee spots around campus, and learning how to cook.

Elyse Kim

visit coordinator for special programs

Elyse is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences majoring in Economics with minors in French and History. She grew up in Connecticut, but now lives in sunny Miami. Elyse joined Kite & Key as a freshman and has previously served as a shift captain. Her favorite part of Kite & Key is sharing the inside scoop of Penn with prospective students, and she’s eager to reach even more students as Visit Coordinator for Special Programs. Outside of Kite & Key, Elyse is a Learning Assistant for the Department of Economics, a Peer Advisor in the College of Arts & Sciences, and a member of Christian Union’s worship team. In her free time, Elyse loves baking and cooking, working out, and sitting on Locust Walk on a sunny day.

Adhwaith Neralla

equity and access chair

Adhwaith is a senior from Singapore in The Wharton School, pursuing a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance. Adhwaith joined Kite & Key in the spring of his freshman year and is so excited to be a member of the executive board this year. His favorite part of Kite & Key is meeting prospective students and helping them learn more about Penn. Outside of Kite & Key, Adhwaith is an Advising Fellow with Matriculate, an Investment Associate in the Wharton Impact Venture Associates Program, and a member of the Penn Roundnet Club. He is also a Teaching Assistant in the Finance Department. In his free time, Adhwaith enjoys binging TV shows with friends, exploring the Philly food scene, and suffering heartbreak as a diehard Liverpool and Philly sports fan.

Mikey Marcus

Training coordinator

Mikey is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences from Short Hills, New Jersey. He is studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a minor in Survey Research and Data Analytics. He joined Kite & Key during his sophomore fall and previously served as a Shift Captain. Now, he could not be more excited to take on the role of training coordinator and to serve on the Kite & Key executive board more generally! His favorite part about being a tour guide is getting to share his love for Penn with prospective students. When not giving tours or training new guides, Mikey can be found singing and performing with Dischord A Cappella. He is also involved in Greek Life and had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in London last spring. In his free time, Mikey loves chatting with people on Locust Walk and exploring the Philly food scene.

Naiya Mainigi

finance chair

Naiya is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is majoring in Cognitive Science, with a concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience, and minors in Consumer Psychology and Chemistry. She began touring during the second semester of her freshman year and is so excited to continue her time on the Kite and Key executive board. Before Finance Chair, Naiya served as the Training Coordinator. Her favorite part of tourguiding with Kite and Key is sharing her favorite stories and love for all things Penn with prospective students, and getting them excited about the school. Outside of Kite and Key, she is president of the Club Field Hockey team, on the Executive Board of her sorority, and works in a research lab analyzing infant behavior. In her free time, she likes to go on runs along the river, take workout classes, explore farmer's markets, and find the best coffee shops to do work at.

Ryan Schager

Communications Chair

Ryan is a junior from Barnegat, New Jersey studying Finance & Business Analytics in The Wharton School. Ryan joined Kite and Key during the fall of his sophomore year and is so excited to join the executive board as the communications chair. Ryan’s favorite part of K&K is being able to share his love for Penn, and connect with prospective students during such an exciting time. Outside of Kite and Key, Ryan serves as an Executive Cohort Director for Wharton Undergraduate Cohorts, the Marketing Chair of Alpha Kappa Psi, and a Penn First Plus Gateway Mentor. Outside of his on-campus involvements and work study positions, Ryan loves to play spikeball, hit a volleyball, wander over the Schuylkill bridge or play music on a speaker and lay outside. With all of his heart, Ryan is so grateful for his best friends, swimming at the beach, and watching sunsets.

Ellie Mayers

Outreach Chair

Ellie is a junior from Cleveland, OH, studying Nursing with a minor in History, Health, and Humanities. Ellie joined Kite & Key, her freshman spring, and previously served as the society’s 2023-2024 Communications Chair. Her favorite part of Kite and Key is the society’s diverse community and society-wide events! When not giving tours, Ellie serves as Penn’s Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health Co-President, participates in Student Nurses at Penn, and is an Anatomy and Physiology TA. She’s involved in Penn Hillel and other Jewish initiatives across campus and is currently her sorority’s apparel chair. Ellie also conducts Maternal Fetal Medicine research at Pennsylvania hospital and hopes to one day become a midwife and work in historically underserved communities. In her spare time, she loves exploring Philly, traveling, baking treats, and going to SoulCycle.

Erin Gonter

Community development chair

Erin is a junior from Madison, WI, studying Nursing with double minors in Nutrition and Global Health. Erin joined Kite & Key her freshman spring, and served as a Shift Captain during her sophomore year, which she enjoyed greatly. Erin’s favorite part about Kite & Key is being able to meet new people, whether that be the wide range of society members, or the prospective students and their families during tours. Outside of Kite & Key, Erin is the Co-President of the Penn Chapter of Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health, is a member of Student Nurses at Penn, serves as a Teaching Assistant for Integrated Anatomy and Physiology, works as a nanny in the greater Philadelphia area, and conducts research in the Endocrinology Department of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Erin hopes to use her nursing education to one day become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, as she has worked with children and their families since she was 12 years old. Outside of campus, Erin loves to go on runs on the Schuylkill River Trail, try new restaurants in Philly, wind down by trying new recipes, and attend workout classes.
